I added a new launch site, in Southampton County on the Blackwater River. This launch is about half way between Franklin and The North Carolina border, on South Quay road.

Horn Point had reopened for the season
The Pirates Of Lynnhaven will be holding a 10 mile paddle from Dismal Swamp Canal Park north to Deep Creek Locks Park on April 18, 2009 @ 0900 to raise money for Operation Smile. The participation fee is $10.00 per paddler and you are requested raise further donations with a pledge form. For more information see the Pirates Of Lynnhaven website.
