I am trying to find out if anyone knew Stanley Tull when he operated Tull Bay Marina in the mid-90s. Do you know anyone I might ask?

I notice that you are going to do a re-write of your launch site. I have 2 you can add: Bob's fishing hole in Chesapeake and Pretty lake in Norfolk. I do not have pictures of the launch site but I have been to them both.

Pretty Lake if you go down shore drive and take a left onto Pretty Lake Ave. you go down not even a quater mile and there is a sandy boat ramp on the curve and pretty adequate parking as well. I have kayaked here a few times. I do not have photos of the launch itself but have pictures of the lake and of birds and inland creeks of the lake will take you to. Very quiet here not alot of boat traffic. I can get pictures of the launch site if you need it.

By the way I just want to thank you for your time and effort you have put into your site. It has helped me alot. I do love to go kayaking and your site is what had really inspired me into kayaking. I past you on your trip out at Baum Rd on July 12TH in a blue kayak you told there was alot of boat traffic on the river.

Hey,
You have the best Kayaking site around. Me and my girlfriend just bought a Kayak this summer, and intend to kayak in sections from the Lynnhaven to West neck into North Carolina. This past Saturday we put in at Dosiers Bridge, the creek is only 20 feet wide, and covered with a canopy of trees. We are cruising along, and about 50 yards in front of us a large bird drops out of the trees, flying away from us, the bird circles back at us coming up the creek, 10 feet off the water, directly over our heads, and looks right at us as it soars past. It was a Bald eagle, 8 foot wing span. Never in a thousand years will that happen again. Our jaws just dropped. It was fantastic.,

About the creek: northbound is open, Southbound has a number of log jams but is passable to Indian river road.
