Mill Creek On the Rappahanock

The Pirates Of Lynnhaven had the inaugural Buccaneers On the Bay, crossing of the Chesapeake. A 20 mile crossing of the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. Out of the 14 starters, 2 paddlers completed the trip, all proceeds from the event went to Special Olympics. A large number of paddlers were turned back due to weather concerns. Overall the event was a good time for all involved.

I would have joined in the fun, but I found out too late, and had family commitments .
